KawzInvests says liquidation rumors hit VARA AI Fund as 13F holdings were valued at about $13.1 billion

ChainCatcher reported that X user KawzInvests posted about hedge fund VARA AI Fund. According to the post, the fund had nine employees at the end of June, roughly 16 months after launch, and managed about $26.4 billion in assets. KawzInvests also said rumors circulated in the market that day that the fund had been liquidated. The user additionally listed the fund’s March 31 13F holdings using same-day prices, saying the portfolio covered 60 names with a combined value of about $13.1 billion. The largest disclosed positions included NBIS at about $1.28 billion, BE at about $1.27 billion, LITE at about $1.03 billion, CRWV at about $889 million, STX at about $728 million, VRT at about $720 million, WDC at about $624 million, CLS at about $537 million, COHR at about $492 million, and FIX at about $426 million.
